Speaker Series: Ariel Delgado Dixon and Allegra Hyde, in conversation

February 26, 2024 @ 6:00 pm

Speakers courtesy of The Studios of Key West where they are in residency. Allegra Hyde‘s most recent work is the story collection THE LAST CATASTROPHE. “Climate fiction does not owe readers hope, but through humor and humanity Hyde manages to present a harsh reality without descending into despair, offering a space for mourning and for reimagining life in a permanently changed world.” —The New York Times Book Review. Ariel Delgado Dixon’s first novel is DON’T SAY WE DIDN’T WARN YOU, published by Random House in 2022. “When the Juvenile Transportation Services come for you in the night in a preordained kidnapping, complete with an unmarked van and husky guardsmen you can’t outmatch, you have been sold for a promise.”
