DESCRIPTION:Noted American businessman Bob Rich is an avid outdoorsman and the author of five books\, including Fish Fights\, The Fishing Club\, and The Right Angle. His novel\, Looking Through Water\, was awarded a gold medal by Readers’ Favorite in the category of Southern Fiction and has been made into a film now streaming on multiple platforms\, including Amazon\, Apple TV\, Fandango at Home\, and Google Play. \nRich will be in conversation with Paul Dixon. Paul began his fishing journey in Newport Beach\, California\, where he learned to fish at age three and took up fly fishing in 1971. After moving to the U.S. East Coast in the 1980s\, Paul worked for Orvis in New York City and later opened Dixon’s Sporting Life in East Hampton\, New York. He is widely regarded as a pioneer in sight fishing for striped bass in the Northeast\, a technique that combines precision and artistry. DESCRIPTION:Held monthly in the Library Palm Garden from December to March\, the Friends of the Key West Library Book Sale is a place that brings the community together. It is amazing what gems can be found among the 3\,000 donated books: a book or two\, a friend or two\, a good conversation\, or even a book for a gift. There is always a line of customers waiting for the gates to open. \n\nDate: December 6\, 2025\nTime: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (Members of the Friends will be admitted early\, at 9:30.)\nLocation: Key West Public Library Palm Garden\, 700 Fleming Street. If it rains\, the sale will be held inside the library.
