Each month a local business hosts Key West Girls Night Out, an event which benefits a different charity each time and is organized by Sue Puskedra with her team at Susie’s Estate Sales. In July the event benefited The Friends of the Key West Library and was pure bliss! Hosts Bliss Jewelers provided a beautiful bracelet as a raffle prize. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages were offered to more than 100 women attending the event at Bliss Jewelers. A poster featuring the summer reading program at the Key West Library drew eyes and interest. At the close of the evening, the Friends of the Key West Library received $1450 to go towards creative youth programs in our community. We couldn’t be more grateful!
