The Key West Library’s  first “Music in the Palm Garden” concert was just over eight years ago, and we’ve been fortunate to have artists from all over the United States (and one act from Finland) play in our pastoral Palm Garden. In January, the library hosted the Daniel Bennett Group, a trio from New York City that often performs at the famed Blue Note Jazz Club.

In February, the library welcomes the talented singer/songwriter Toney Rocks at 6 p.m. on February 7. His music has been described as a synergistic blend of rock, Americana, and blues. On Valentine’s Day at 6 p.m., Nashville-based singer/songwriter Louise Mosrie will perform in concert with singer/songwriter Marc Douglas Berardo from Rhode Island. For over 30 years Berardo has performed thousands of shows big and small, including nights with The Doobie Brothers, Little Feat, John Hiatt, Martin Sexton, Livingston Taylor, Kevin Welch, Red Molly, Guy Clark and late David Olney.  

These FREE concerts are generously sponsored by the Friends of the Key West Library and the Monroe County Public Library System. Seating is first-come, first-served. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. In the case of poor weather, the concert will be held inside the library.
