Dr. Seanica Howe
Howe Orthodontics

Seanica Howe dreamed of being a doctor from the time she was a girl in Qulin, Missouri, a tiny town in the foothills of the Ozark mountains. She did her orthodontic residency in Miami and joined a dental group there, commuting back-and-forth to the practice she opened back in Missouri. A decade later, she took a hiatus to pursue her lifelong passions of music and art in New York, before buying a boutique practice in Key West in 2014.
“One reason I love practicing in Key West is that it allows me to really connect with patients and make them feel seen and special — particularly kids, who are very near and dear to me.” Howe supports baseball and softball teams, a dental scholarship, a lacrosse program, and recently became a Ruby Sponsor of the Friends of the Key West Library.
“I come from humble beginnings, but I was supported as kid, so I think it’s very important to give back to causes that allow children to access their dreams,” she says. “I owe Key West a lot. I’ve grown here. The Library is a vital institution in this community, and I think it’s up to all of us to help preserve it.
