Be Our Valentine!

Happy February, Friends!

Your Friends’ board has been operating at warp speed for the last several months. In January, the book sales committee threw a fabulous sale. (Members can come a half hour early for best selection.) For the last three Mondays, the authors arranged by our Speakers’ Series committee have given wonderful talks, all in our beautiful Palm Garden. We’ve got another book sale coming up this Saturday and four more talks scheduled in February — short stories, thrillers, women’s fiction, Key West history. We have something for everyone. We’d love to have you join us for some or all of them.

Speaking of joining us, please make sure you are up to date on your membership for 2024. If you are unsure, check here. And maybe you have some reading friends who don’t yet know about the wonderful work our organization does? (Of course, you already know that we are raising awareness about the library and raising money to build their collections and programs.) We have created beautiful trifolds describing the season’s work as well as brand new bookmarks. Do pick up a few while you’re at one of our events and offer them to your bookish pals.

Please know that we appreciate each of you who are members of the Friends. In fact, I declare that every one of you is our Valentine!
