On January 3, crowds came out to shop at our second book sale of the season. Then on January 12,we kicked off the Speaker Series season with Nicholas Boggs, author of Baldwin: A Love Story. January weather altered three events this month: First, we moved inside on January 19^, for Robert W. Fieseler, author of American Scare: Florida’s Hidden Cold War on Black and Queer Lives. Then, storms up north stranded our January 26, speaker, Sarah Stewart Taylor, in New York so we had to cancel. Finally, we finished the busy month with another one of our popular book sales on January 31, held inside the library, also due to inclement weather.
